Read the article entitled "The future of the universe" and answer the following questions:

1. What does "Stelliferous" mean?

2. When did our own sun form?  Give the number in words, and in scientific notation.

3. Describe to me what will happen to our Sun and our earth a few billion years from now.

4.  Which stars in our own galaxy will last the longest: High mass stars, stars like the sun,
or red dwarf stars?  Explain why.

5.  At the end of stellar evolution, there are objects called stellar remnants, or the article
calls them "degenerate stellar objects"  Name them, and tell me what kind of star makes
each one.

6. When does the Stelliferous era end?  What is this number in scientific notation?
