Latest news, we have both lost and gained pets in our family. We have lost our beloved cat, Andy, to heart failure. She was 12, and had been with us since before Floyd and Denise were married. We miss her charming personality, her silky soft coat, and her amazing purr.

During the same week, we adopted a new dog, Charlie. He is about 2 years old, and a border collie-setter mix (as far as we can tell). He is very sweet, and affectionate.

"Our house...is a very, very, very fine house..."

Amanda, nearly 7 years old, during the summer of 2001. She is flying our kite, which thanks to mom, now lives in a tree in that same field. Quite a pro!

This is Sydney at 2 years old, the same summer. Need I say more?

We were invited to Jack's 3rd birthday party. Sydney was very excited that she and Jack were the same age.
