These are the results of the compatibility tests we ran. In general, all browsers on PCs running a version of Windows were able to run the applets successfully and at the highest speed. If problems occur, please use the appletviewer from Sun's JDK 1.2, as that is the best standard available.

Netscape 6, now officially released, has undergone some preliminary testing. The Java Applets themselves seem to run fine, but Netscape 6 has lost JavaScript capability (used in the web content pages). Further testing will commence, however we are waiting for a quality product to be released.

There have been rumors that some of the applets have ran successfully on a Mac using Internet Explorer. The rumor states that the Microsoft Virtual Machine must be selected from the options menu. Hopefully, this tip will provide help to the die-hard MacOS users until we can provide more support.
