Chandra X-ray Telescope

Chandra at a Glance

Imaging Instruments

Very important: Chandra is not an all-sky survey telescope. Its spatial coverage and limiting depth for a given field is determined by whatever science project imaged that field.

Sample images of our clusters (left to right: A1795, A2063, A2065) with 1 Mpc circles.

Many ways to access Chandra data, including:
For each of your clusters, query the crossmatch catalog within a 1Mpc radius of the cluster center.  Note that the crossmatch catalog gives results for things classified by SDSS as galaxies (type 3) or stars (type 6).

Then use the SDSS DR8 Skyserver page to cross-match sources back to SDSS and see the imaging/spectroscopic data. (Use the "Cross-ID" link under "Data Access" on the left....). Just do an "Image"search type, and don't worry about the spectroscopic join.
